I saw from Song's space that the most recent famous question of her is 'did you cry at the airport'. Referring to her, most people give a NO answer. To me, not openly. Whatever you think what this means. I did not feel homesick for at least the whole week, and being energetic as usual. However, when I move into my apt for the first night, i am a little of out of control. Especially when I unpack all the things. I surprisingly found bear is so clever to ask me to write down a note indicating the location of each thing I brought with me. Thanks!

 

For now, I find there are bunch of things to take care of. I need to move on and catch up with what I missed.

With no internet access in my apt, I am here in the lab. Yesterday, i changed the background into blue to cool myself in the heat pot st.louis. Today, I had a litter tour in the GWB's library. It's actually much bigger than I thought, contains tons of books piled on the stacks. Unforturnately, the system here is not DDC, instead, Library of Congress (LC). So I did some homework too. I am considering bring the books back and then find here a more pleasant place to read.

 

Calling electricity and gas company is really annoying. They need my social security number. SSN everywhere~~ without it, basically, you are not really existing. More important, you could be overcharged or ask to deposit large amount of money.

 现在是北京时间夜里1点05分，我这里是个大白天。我还是决定让电脑暂时坚持使用北京时间，等上了课再改过来。由于昨天早上睡过了，因此未能及时出现在新家打扫卫生，今天我上了3个闹钟，终于在7点20分的时候艰难的爬起来了。新家其实挺干净的，连根毛都扫不出来，等我安顿好了会把相片发来给你们看看。今天下午搬家，应该都差不多了。
